Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Indianapolis is seeking a Store Manager who will take full ownership of store operations, lead 8–15 employees across all shifts, and remain flexible to cover evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

You will coach the team, hire and train staff, manage inventory and banking, uphold safety and cleanliness, and drive sales through exceptional service and upselling. A valid driver’s license and Food Safety Certification are required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21+ years old.
• Food Safety Certification must have or be able to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits).

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of your store's operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go‑to person when coverage is needed—you’ll typically work days but must be available for any shift, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and actively upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members, focusing on growth, accountability, and teamwork.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle all banking and cash deposits—must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to take on anything the store needs—including cross‑training and stepping in to manage deli or QSR operations when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure

The pay range listed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum rate for the position. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and the shift for which the candidate is hired.

This Store Manager role is an hourly position requiring a minimum of 52 hours per week; the annual compensation reflects a base hourly wage for 40 hours and overtime pay for all hours worked beyond 40 each week.
