Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation seeks an advanced practice speech-language pathologist to cover outpatient centers across the Boston area. The role involves implementing rehabilitative programs, mentoring staff, and delivering therapy for adults with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.

Experience in outpatient settings is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome. The position includes 8% premium pay and a dynamic schedule across multiple locations within the MGB

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Speech pathology experience 3-5 years required.
• Outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
