Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Floating Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a senior living community in Lewiston and Auburn, Maine. This Per Diem role supports assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings, with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on teamwork.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license or is license eligible in Maine, has proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and electronic documentation, and commits to compassionate patient care and timely

Qualifications

• Current PTA license or license eligible in the state of employment.
• Experience with elderly populations in assisted living or memory care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive therapy services in assisted living, independent living and memory care.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a team environment.
• Maintain PTA license status and ensure timely documentation.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and electronic documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely charting and data entry.
• Be flexible with hours to meet patient needs.
