Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services, part of Enhance Therapies, is hiring a Floating Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time work in Tallahassee, FL. You will provide therapy under a licensed PT, identify suitable patients for therapy, and coordinate evaluations and referrals in a SNF/long-term care setting.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program, possess an active PTA license in Florida, and have at least one year of SNF experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A solid year of SNF experience.
• Willing to travel to multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
