Qualifications

• Experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Ability to trouble shoot and train on workflow improvements.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens according to procedures; ensure proper labeling.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Handle specimen transport and ensure sample integrity per protocols.
• Attend trainings and answer inquiries about results.
