Job summary
MU Health Care's Mizzou Pharmacy is seeking a part-time float pharmacy technician to support and float between all Columbia, MO locations. You will greet patients, assist with bedside delivery, prepare and dispense medications, and manage inventory while coordinating with pharmacists.

Qualifications
- Must apply prior to hire for Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and other pharmacy employees.
- Provide on-the-job training to new personnel and assist in evaluating the progress of new employees.
- Receive prescriptions, complete data entry of prescription orders in the pharmacy dispensing software, and adjudicate third-party insurance claims.
- Prepare and label prescriptions consistent with state and federal labeling guidelines.
- Deliver quality customer service in all interactions with patients.
