Job summary

Ingles Markets is seeking a Floating Pharmacist to deliver exceptional patient care and accurate dispensing across assigned retail locations. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and compliance within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

You will provide dispensing services, immunizations, and patient counseling while coordinating with store staff and Pharmacist-in-Charge coverage. This position offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree is required.
• Licensed Pharmacist, registered through state board of Pharmacy.
• Certified Immunizer and valid CPR certificate.
• Related Pharmacist work experience, and previous retail work experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
• Advise customers and provide product information as needed.
• Provide prompt, professional pharmaceutical dispensing services and maintain strong customer relations.
• Accurately prepare prescriptions and communicate clearly with patients.
• Provide appropriate drug and pharmaceutical information.
• Follow departmental procedures and safety standards.
• Administer immunizations and vaccines per regulations.
• Direct pharmacy staff when the Pharmacist-in-Charge is absent.
• Update the Pharmacist-in-Charge on department progress.
• Order stock needed for daily operations.
• Train pharmacy staff on technology and equipment as needed.
