Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Float pharmacist to support clinics open 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekends. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week and offers exposure to clinical care and patient education.

You will oversee medication therapy, counsel patients, review orders, support safety initiatives, and mentor students. Licensure in the state and immunization certification are required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required per area of practice.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, and adherence.
• Reviews medication orders and prescriptions.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Prepares and dispenses medications following regulations.
• Mentors pharmacy students and trainees.
