Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant float to support multiple clinics across Michigan. This part-time role offers flexibility to float between locations, with a minimum commitment of two days per week and options to move toward full time.

Hours are primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities and a pay differential. Under supervision, you will greet patients, collect histories, record vitals, prep for exams, and assist physicians during procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour clinical externship.
• One year or more of continuous clinical medical assisting experience preferred. Other pathways acceptable per listing include MA program without externship but with one year of clinical experience in past five years; or LPN/EMT with experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the exam rooms.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist the physician during examinations/procedures.
• Demonstrates clinical competence as a Medical Assistant.
