MainStreet Family Urgent Care is seeking Floating Medical Assistants for clinics in Savannah and Hinesville, GA. As a Medical Assistant, you will assist providers with patient care, triage, and maintain medical records. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and is flexible with work hours.

Qualifications

• Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Provider(s) in the care of patients.
• Triage patients promptly according to clinic procedures.
• Document vital signs and updates to medical history.
• Perform lab tests per clinical guidelines and instructions.
• Manage digital patient records and support transitions.
• Prepare examination rooms ensuring cleanliness.
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations.
• Position patients for x-rays per provider directives.
• Monitor and manage medical inventory as needed.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in Microsoft Office suite

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
