Qualifications

Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is beneficial, but not required.
Responsibilities
Assisting Provider(s) in the care of patients to assure optimal delivery of medical care.
Triage patients promptly and in line with clinic procedures to ensure smooth workflow.
Document vital signs and updates to the patient’s medical history.
Perform lab tests in compliance with clinical guidelines.
Manage digital patient records and support the transition to electronic systems.
Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.
Administer prescribed medications under provider supervision.
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
Help monitor and manage medical inventory.
