Floating Maintenance Technician - Ridgeview

Join us as a Floating Maintenance Technician at Bell Partners Inc.

Position Overview: A Floating Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance, repair, groundskeeping, and other interior and exterior duties for the community, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, filter replacement, trash compactor work, plumbing, light bulb replacement, A/C maintenance, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service with respect for residents and staff
• Perform scheduled and requested interior and exterior maintenance and equipment repairs
• Respond promptly to repair requests and maintenance concerns
• Report malfunctions, breakdowns, and hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Respect resident privacy and obtain proper authorization before entering apartments
• Ensure safety of maintenance items and proper storage to prevent injuries
• Attend training and education sessions as assigned
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety and OSHA requirements
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years old
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of Bell Core Values
• 1-3 years maintenance experience preferred
• Basic repair skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical systems
• HVAC, EPA, or CPO certifications may be required based on staffing
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Availability for weekday, evening, and weekend work

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment and hazardous materials
• Comfort with heights and moving heavy objects

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $24.00 - $25.00. Incentive opportunities are performance-based.
