Job summary

Van Metre is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple Fayetteville properties, with occasional coverage in Greensboro/Burlington. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, repairs and upkeep to apartments and common areas, ensuring safety and curb appeal.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience or training, EPA 608, CFC and CPO certifications, and a solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience or formal training.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• CFC certification required.
• CPO certification required.
• Strong understanding of appliance, electrical and plumbing repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager with maintenance of the community.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and janitorial services.
• Perform general repairs of property grounds, apartments and exteriors.
• Maintain inventory and storage areas for maintenance materials.
• Respond to resident service requests and after-hours emergencies.
