Description

We are currently seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to support our Delaware property locations. This role involves floating between properties as needed.

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Providing excellent service to internal and external customers
  • Collaborating effectively with leasing and maintenance staff
  • Representing the company professionally and courteously
  • Performing routine maintenance, service requests, turnovers, preventative maintenance, and other duties as assigned
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Using personal (basic) hand tools
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Attending in-house training sessions
  • Keeping current preventative maintenance logs
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proficiency in using standard hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (e.g., water heaters, appliances, salt, shovels)
  • Knowledge of routine and preventative maintenance
  • Skills across various building trades
  • Ability to work on ladders and roofs following safety protocols
  • Responsibility to complete work orders promptly and maintain inventory
  • Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate issues
  • Adherence to company safety and operational procedures
  • Willingness to work on an on-call schedule as needed
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude aligned with Westover Companies' core values
