Job summary

Cirrus Asset Management is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician for commercial buildings in the Orange County area. This full-time role is on-site and includes on-call duties with hourly compensation.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, address electrical, plumbing, and mechanical needs, and document activities. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional service for property owners and residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance technician experience in retail/mall or industrial buildings.
• Must be able to travel to multiple properties as needed.
• Electrical or CM rp certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within designated time frame.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical systems (bulbs, sockets, panels).
• Repair plumbing and heating components.
• Maintain locks, doors, and controllers.
• Document fire safety and building system checks.
• Keep grounds presentable to company/client standards.
• Perform minor repairs as needed.
• Participate in ongoing safety and training programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performance and materials procurement.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within designated time frame
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components
• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers.
• Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarm contacts and other building systems
• Maintain grounds/ curb appeal to company an client standard
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document work performance and materials procurement as directed

Qualifications

• Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for retail/mall and industrial buildings for 1 year(s) Required
• Must be able to travel to and from multiple properties on an as needed basis Required
• Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (Electrical, CMRP etc.)
• In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Problem solving aptitude
• High school diploma

Properties located throughout Orange County, Redondo Beach, and Los Angeles

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 6:00PM, with occasional early start times (7:00 AM) as needed. On call for any emergencies
