Job summary

National Development is seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to support our apartment communities in the Boston area. The role covers interior and exterior upkeep, emergency response, and turnover tasks across multiple properties in our residential portfolio.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in appliance repair, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance (prefer residential) including Appliance Repair, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Painting, etc.
• Willingness to jump in, learning new tasks and systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician with National Development

The Opportunity

National Development is looking for a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician for our apartment community portfolio. The ideal candidate must be skilled in all areas of general maintenance and must be able to perform physical maintenance operations of the property.

As a Maintenance Technician, Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Maintain the interior and exterior physical condition of the assigned property in a professional manner
• Assist in the performance of all maintenance duties including service requests and apartment turnover functions
• Regularly care for buildings and grounds as needed
• Reliably handle emergency situations
• Ability to travel between all communities in our residential portfolio
