The Franklin Group is seeking a Floating Leasing Manager to oversee leasing consultants and drive occupancy in the DC Metro area. This role reports to the Community Manager/Regional Manager and requires LIHTC/HUD experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to achieve occupancy goals.
• Review and approve all new leases and renewals.
• Review leasing consultant commissions and submit to the property manager.

• Ensure notices, renewals, move-ins, and traffic are entered into MRI/Onesite.
• Maintain the property’s leasing and renewal goal board.
• Inspect models and office area for cleanliness and appeal.
• Review guest cards to ensure proper follow-up.

JOB SUMMARY: The Leasing Manager supervises the staff of leasing consultants and is responsible for developing and implementing a leasing plan to attract new residents and retain current residents.This team member must be willing to travel between Maryland, DC, and VA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

• Develop programs to ensure that the community meets or exceeds its occupancy goals.
• Reviews and approves all new leases and renewals.
• Reviews all leasing consultant commissions and submits to the property manager for approval.
• Provides property manager with all leasing and renewal information needed for monthly property report.
• Ensures all information (notices, renewals, move-ins, traffic, etc.) is properly entered into MRI/Onesite.
• Maintains the property’s leasing and renewal goal board.
• Inspect models and office area for cleanliness and appeal. Walk vacant apartments as necessary to ensure readiness for leasing.
• Review all guest cards to ensure proper follow-up.
