Floating Leasing Agent Job Overview

The Floating Leasing Agent will provide coverage to Leasing Offices within the TFC portfolio when other Leasing Agents are on vacation or during peak rental times. The role involves supervising the daily workflow of the Leasing Office, including direct supervision of Leasing Assistants. The primary focus is on delivering exceptional customer service to clients, renting apartments, and staff training. The Floating Leasing Agent must demonstrate good judgment, work proactively and autonomously, achieve results without close supervision, and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lease and pre-lease apartments
• Compile and organize application packages for submission to the main office
• Prepare and review leases for prospective residents
• Regularly walk tour paths to ensure proper building presentation
• Supervise, mentor, and train Leasing Assistants
• Complete comprehensive reports for submission to the Director of Market Research
• Coordinate move-ins and provide punch lists on unit turns in collaboration with the Resident Manager
• Conduct move-in inspections
• Assess unit conditions and provide feedback for renovations if needed
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
• Weekend and holiday hours are required

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Residential Leasing Agent
• Real Estate Salespersons License required
• Expert knowledge of Rent stabilization
• Proficient sales techniques
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-stress environment
• Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills
• Ability to read and understand credit reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Word and Excel

Compensation

• $60,000-$70,000 plus commissions
