Job summary

AdventHealth Primary Care Network seeks a Float Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join a supportive team delivering comprehensive primary care across ages. The role emphasizes patient-centered care with accessible locations and digital health tools within a mission-driven culture.

The position offers a flexible workload with 4- or 5-day schedules, strong support staff, and base salary with production incentives, plus full benefits on day one.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine; board-eligible candidates considered if certification before hire
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
• Comfortable with minor office-based procedures
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain before hire
• DEA license or ability to obtain before hire
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to pediatric through geriatric patients, including women’s health
• Deliver autonomous and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging
• Monitor treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
• Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers and care teams to ensure high-quality care
