Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across the Florida region with travel to accounts as needed. The role emphasizes ownership, rising standards, and introducing fresh ideas to menus.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in culinary leadership, strong cooking skills, and experience in high-volume operations. Catering experience and ServSafe certification are preferred; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience.
• Strong hands-on cooking skills and the ability to lead, teach, and motivate a team.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations, including batch cooking.
• Solid knowledge of food cost controls, production planning, sanitation, and presentation.
• Creativity and an understanding of current food and catering trends.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and computer-based operational tools.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Catering experience and ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations with a focus on great food, consistent execution, and a safe, organized workplace.
• Plan and execute regular and modified menus while maintaining recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
• Stay hands-on with production, taste food, and coach your team to deliver quality at every meal.
• Train and develop associates in culinary techniques, equipment use, food safety, and sanitation.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, production, and waste to control costs and keep kitchens running efficiently.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with company standards and health regulations.
• Partner with account leaders and clients to improve the dining experience and bring culinary programs to life.
