Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Floating Community Manager to lead and coordinate operations across multiple properties in the region. You will recruit, develop staff, and ensure high resident satisfaction while managing budgets and marketing plans.

The role requires traveling between properties, overseeing leasing activities, and maintaining performance across a market. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business, sales, or related field with relevant experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in a property management role preferred.
  • Strong marketing skills and exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Yardi/Onesite preferred.
  • Willing to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and control all facets of the community to ensure quality services and a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Train all staff members on proper leasing techniques and resident service
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and address any associate concerns or employee relations issues
  • Maintain complete and accurate associate files and a high level of associate satisfaction, as measured by periodic surveys
  • Conduct weekly meetings with leasing and maintenance staff
  • Develop and administer the community budget
  • Evaluate unit prices following the market and budgeted goals
  • Develop an annual marketing plan and conduct marketing reviews monthly
  • Obtain bids for all contract services and oversee routine capital projects
  • Be responsible for 35% of leasing activities
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

As a Floating Community Manager with Bell, you will be responsible for leading and directing all community operations at a variety of locations throughout the region. The Community Manager leads and motivates community staff members to provide service to residents and maintain a high level of resident satisfaction. This position does not have a single designated worksite. Instead, this position is expected to travel between and perform work at multiple properties within a designated market or region. This position is responsible for recruiting, hiring, managing, and providing performance feedback to employees to ensure community performance and adequate staffing at multiple properties within the position's designated market or region.

  • Yardi & Onesite knowledge preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willing to travel as required within the assigned region

Physical requirements of the job: Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs. Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects #LI-KS1
