Job summary

Rochester Regional Health seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (ESS Float) to provide basic patient care under nurse supervision across facilities. You will perform personal care, assist with daily activities, and support restorative nursing under supervision to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role requires NYS CNA certification and at least 1 year of CNA experience, with willingness to float between facilities and participate in in‑service training as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with NYS certification.
• 1 year of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow residents' care plans for daily care needs, treatments and therapies, and consult nurses when needed.
• Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring and mobility assistance.
• Assist with personal services and support visitors by directing questions to the supervising nurse.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities of daily living.
