Job summary

The City of Lincoln is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support across four coastal locations in Myrtle Beach area. The role includes patient examinations prep, room setup, medical records management, injections, phlebotomy, and clerical duties to ensure smooth workflow and a welcoming patient environment.

This float position covers Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, Carolina Forest, and Conway; based at one site but will travel to others as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from an accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support including taking histories, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians.
• Prepare exam rooms and manage medical records.
• Perform basic lab tasks, phlebotomy, injections, and specimen handling.
