WorkSchedule:Monday-Friday (Weekends as needed, flexibility asneeded)

Job Summary:
The JBS Pork team is seeking aFloating Accounting Clerk.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Cross train and vacation fill in for Billing and Export Clerks (1,2,3 shift), livestock clerks (1.2 shift), and other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Billing includes verifying orders, generating BOL, preparing trucking packets and filing invoices
  • Exports include preparing all export documents
  • Livestock includes auditing scale tickets, data entry and report preparation and disbursement
  • Perform various other accounting duties as needed to ensure efficiency in the Accounting Department.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Previous accounting and office experience preferred
  • 10-key and computer skills required
  • Communication skills - written and verbal including phone etiquette
  • Good work history including attendance
  • Team player among all shifts
Education, Experience, Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual (plus but notrequired)
  • Previous accounting and office experience preferred
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The Applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Base Salary : This position starts at $19/hour with the ability to go up to $20.02/hour.

Hours:

  • Floating 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd shift
  • Some Saturday’s required
  • Some Sundays on call
  • Health, Dental, Vision coverage begins after60 daysof employment
