Job summary

River Road Early Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic preschool teachers for part‑time or full‑time roles in Richmond, VA. We welcome college students pursuing a degree in early childhood education to apply. Compensation ranges from $16–$18 per hour, with dental and vision benefits for full‑time staff.

Opportunities exist across Infant, Toddler, Two‑Year‑Old and Three‑Year‑Old classrooms, plus floater roles. Schedule options include part‑time (12:30–5:30) or full‑time (9:30–5:30).

We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and experienced early childhood educators who are passionate about teaching young children and creating meaningful learning experiences.

We also encourage college students who are interested in pursuing a career working with children to apply. This can be a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience in an early childhood classroom while completing your degree.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• Part‑time and full‑time opportunities available.

Available Schedules:

• Part‑Time: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
• Full‑Time: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

We have opportunities available across our Infant, Toddler, Two‑Year‑Old, and Three‑Year‑Old classrooms, as well as Floater positions supporting classrooms throughout the school.
