Job summary

Inspired Education LLC is seeking dedicated Assistant Teachers who are fun loving, caring, and passionate about early childhood education. This year-round role is a float/sub across multiple sites, with responsibilities including supervision, implementing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe classroom environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience with infants and toddlers; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children.
• Delivers lesson plans with activities for physical, social, and emotional growth.
• Maintains a well-kept, organized classroom and safe environment.
• Attends staff meetings, workshops and school functions as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned and can work early mornings or closing shift.

We are looking for someone to fill in or float as a sub between our different sites/locations.

We are specifically looking for individuals with prior experience working with infants and toddlers.

A teacher assistant is responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children. The Teacher implements the lesson plans which includes activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provides materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play. The Teacher prepares materials and classrooms for class activities and conducts all activities in a safe, organized, and productive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children

• Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position

• 1+ years of child care experience, specifically with children under the age of 5.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Able to interact with students of all ages and skill levels

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
