Securitas USA is hiring a Floater Security professional for the 2nd shift in Austin, MN. The role involves active monitoring, access control, patrolling multiple locations, and enforcing site rules to maintain a safe environment.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently while remaining calm and professional under pressure.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Safe driving certification.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client staff and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as site requirements.

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Floater Security - Full Time

Primary Location: Austin, MN
Wage: $18.94/HR

2nd Shift
Our Floater Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect
