Job summary

Ira Green, Inc. is seeking a flexible Floater Production Support to work across various production departments in our Rhode Island facility.

The role requires learning new tasks, adapting to changing production needs, and maintaining a positive attitude on the shop floor. Responsibilities include supporting hydraulic-trim operations, machine polishing, racking, and main floor production, with opportunities to suggest process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb a ladder and walk or stand for entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Previous experience in manufacturing and warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support in multiple production departments and operations.
• Assist with hydraulic-trim operation, machine polisher, racking, main floor production, and fusion tasks as needed.
• Make recommendations to upgrade processes when improvement opportunities are identified.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors to ensure proper workflow between assignments.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and perform a variety of manufacturing tasks and adapt quickly to changing production needs. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to move from one job or department to another during the shift based on business and production requirements. The successful candidate will be comfortable learning new processes, working with different teams, and taking on new assignments with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, providing support in the following areas:

• - Hydraulic-Trim Operation
• Machine Polisher
• Racking
• Main Floor Production
• Fusion
• Makes recommendations to upgrade processes when improvement opportunities are identified.
• Maintains constant and clear communication with supervisors to ensure proper workflow between assignments.

Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in work area.

Must be able to climb a ladder and walk or stand for entire shift

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Previous Experience Working In Manufacturing And Warehouse Preferred.

Demonstrates a positive attitude

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
