Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in New York State is seeking a pharmacist to join a patient‑focused team. You will work closely with leaders and technicians to deliver a one‑of‑a‑kind pharmacy experience and provide exceptional care to customers.

The role requires counseling on prescriptions, accurate workflow, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing engagement with wellness initiatives. Travel across the division is required, and a Certified Pharmacist Immunizer is required.

• Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns while showing empathy with sensitive situations.
• Strive to exceed expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems.
• Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying pertinent information for success and confidence with at-home use of medication.
• Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products.
• Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
• Remain current on company wellness initiatives, demonstrating your support to your team and the store as a whole.
• Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, following all company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business.
• Required: Frequent travel throughout the entire division where you're hired for and/or working in
