Floater Pharmacist (Finance)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Current state pharmacist license in good standing
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, writing)
Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill customers' prescription needs accurately and provide pharmaceutical care and counseling.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct, adhering to pharmacy standards and dress codes.
  • Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competitors.
  • Create a positive image through excellent service and cooperation with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Monitor inventory, stock replenishment, policies, record-keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, equipment operation, pricing, planograms, returns, budgets, reports, and product recalls.
  • Maintain records and security for scheduled drugs, including controlled substances.
  • Handle pharmacy products from authorized sources following procedures.
  • Utilize accuracy tools properly and maintain compliance records.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring a professional appearance.
  • Manage product returns and equipment maintenance.
  • Organize policy manuals, reference materials, and ensure staff knowledge of their use.
  • Display appropriate signage and maintain a professional environment.
  • Continuously expand personal pharmacy knowledge and skills.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
