*TEKsystems is looking to hire several Floater Patient Access Reps for a large healthcare clinic in Appleton, WI!*

*Description*
The patient service rep will provide excellent support and possess great communication skills.
Duties include:
- Scheduling of appointments
- Handling Insurance Verification
- Gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical record for billing, registration and scheduling purposes (EPIC)
- Collect and enter demographic, billing, insurance and co-pay information to complete check-in and facilitate a seamless customer experience
- Schedule patients following established policies and procedures to ensure accuracy
- Proactively problem solve access issues that arise when scheduling and providing support to clients
- Files, retrieves, or delivers patient information
- Facilitates the flow of patient forms, letters, and data per department needs
*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
Must:
-Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
-At least 1 year of previous healthcare
-Experience working with EPIC, at least 1 year preferred
-Ability to work in high volume, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
-Ability to be flexible in response to unexpected changes in workload, staffing and scheduling
-Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
-Reliable and motivated to work
-High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
-Ability to work independently or in a team environment
-Comfortable working under minimal supervision
-Flexibility to work between 7:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri
Plus:
-EPIC software
-Strong understanding of health insurance and the revenue cycle
-Medical terminology -verify in references
-1+ years of healthcare office experience (can be face to face or over the phone)
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
