Job Summary

A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all basic cleaning tasks as assigned.
2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking supplies, empty trash, and clean fixtures and mirrors.
3. Move and vacuum furniture, and replace liners in trash containers.
4. Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and spot clean glass and floors.
5. Handle additional duties such as spill clean-up and flood response.
6. Restock cleaning carts and closets at shift end.
7. Previous experience preferred but not required.
8. Maintain strong communication skills.
9. Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
10. Work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility to handle varying workloads.
11. Perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Additional Details

Harvard offers a competitive salary of $16/hour, including benefits such as medical, dental, life, long-term disability insurance, and a 401K plan. Shifts are available from 8 am to 5 pm, 3 pm to 12 am, and 7 am to 4 pm, with possible evening shifts.
