We are currently hiring a reliable and flexible Floater Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children of all ages and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, nurturing, and willing to assist wherever needed — whether it's changing diapers, covering breaks, cleaning classrooms, or engaging with children.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support in multiple classrooms ranging from infants to Pre-K

Assist lead teachers in supervising and engaging children during activities

Change diapers and assist with toileting and hygiene as needed

Maintain clean and organized classroom environments, including cleaning tasks

Step in to cover teacher breaks and staff absences

Help with mealtime routines, naptime supervision, and transitions between activities

Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines

Be willing to jump in where help is needed most — flexibility is key!

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (CDA or Early Childhood coursework is a plus)

Experience working with children in a group setting preferred

Must be flexible, punctual, and have a positive attitude

Able to lift 30 lbs and actively move around throughout the day

Must pass all background checks and meet state licensing requirements

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
