United Talent Staffing is seeking dependable Manufacturing Floater / Production Associate for a Statesville, NC facility. This contract-to-perm role supports multiple production departments on a rotating basis.

You will assist with daily production tasks, help operate equipment, handle materials, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced environment. 1st shift runs 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, dress code includes jeans and steel-toe footwear.

Position Overview

United Talent Staffing is seeking dependable and hardworking Manufacturing Floaters / Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and learning different areas of a manufacturing operation. As a Floater, you will assist in various production departments based on daily operational needs.

Candidates should be flexible, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily production and manufacturing operations in various departments.
• Operate or assist with production machinery and equipment as assigned and trained.
• Move, organize, and handle materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with material receiving, processing, and production activities.
• Support machine operators with feeding materials, finishing products, and maintaining production flow.
• Assist with packaging, handling, and transporting finished products.
• Inspect materials and products for quality concerns.
• Report equipment issues, product defects, and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including removing scrap materials and disposing of waste properly.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including machine guarding, proper lifting techniques, and equipment safety requirements.
• Perform additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to work in different departments and perform a variety of assigned tasks.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift or industrial equipment experience is a plus.

Dress Code & Safety Requirements

• Jeans and T-shirt.
• Composite-toe or steel-toe footwear required.
• Safety glasses and hearing protection must be worn in designated areas.
• Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on department assignments.
• Must follow all facility safety policies and procedures.
