Job summary

The North Ward Center seeks a Floater Substitute Teacher to lead instructional activities for an assigned class. With guidance from the Site Director, you will follow curriculums selected by the board and ensure the educational and social objectives of the Center are met.

You will conduct instructional programs, assist in curriculum development, and maintain orderly, sanitary classroom facilities while attending required trainings.

Qualifications

• NJ Substitute Certification required.
• Associates Degree required.

Responsibilities

• The Floater substitute teacher will conduct a program of instruction to achieve the overall objectives of the Center, educationally and socially.
• Will have direct responsibility for conducting all educational program activities for her assigned class. Assists in the development of all necessary curriculums for the program.
• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of all activities at the Center and for conducting such activities in a manner which demonstrates an understanding of the needs and background of the participants.
• Responsible for maintaining classroom facilities in an orderly and sanitary manner.
• Attend all scheduled training required for the position.

Job Description: Floater Substitute Teacher -
