Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a X-Ray/Fluoro Technologist to join our team in Portland, OR. The role focuses on producing diagnostic images, maintaining quality control, and supporting radiology operations with radiologists and referring physicians.

You will perform fluoroscopy, manage patient records in RIS, and uphold safety and professional standards while collaborating with the department and outside teams.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• State licensure in radiologic technology where required.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic images in the assigned area.
• Perform quality control tasks as assigned.
• Maintain positive relationships with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Keep an orderly, safe work area and maintain patient records in RIS.
• Operate a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures.
• Assist in department operations, including meetings and protocol maintenance.
• Answer department calls and support radiography protocols and procedures.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a X-Ray/Fluoro Technologist to join our team. Maintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(85%) Imaging

• Produces diagnostic images in assigned area
• Performs quality control tasks as assigned
• Promotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel
• Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers
• Maintains accurate patient records within Radiologic Information System (RIS)
• Works with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in Surgical and Outpatient procedures

(10%) Department Support

• Participates in staff meetings with employee involvement
• Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual
• Answers department phone calls

(5%) Performs other duties as assigned

Required:

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently
