Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Missouri is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) with WCC or WOCN credentials to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care and coordinate wound treatments in a skilled nursing facility.

You must hold a current RN or LPN license; wound care experience is preferred and certification is a plus. PTO from day one and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required.
• Experience in wound care preferred.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and Missouri state regulations.
• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
• Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
• Duties include medication administration, documentation, and schedule implementation for residents.

Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse / RN or LPN (WCC, WOCN):

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri

• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility

• Implement and monitor patient care plans

• Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders

• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments

• Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention

• Duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents' care, and implementation of schedules for residents

Wound Care Nurse / RN or LPN Qualifications:

• Certification preferred but not required

• Minimum Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
