Job summary

Bank is seeking a Full-Time Teller to travel to 19 branches in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, promote banking services, and ensure accurate cash handling and balancing.

Position requires high school diploma, cash handling and customer service experience, and availability on Saturdays; willingness to travel across branches is essential.

Responsibilities

• Travel to provide coverage to 19 branches located in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.
• Receives checks and cash for deposits; verifies amounts and endorsements; enters deposits into records.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals after signature and balance verification.
• Promotes bank services including loans, IRAs, CDs, safe deposit boxes, and money orders.
• Receives mortgage and loan payments; verifies and records in system.
• Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Counts, checks and packages coins and currency.
• Balances cash drawer at end of shift; reports discrepancies.
• Ensures teller station stocked with forms and supplies.
• Reports malfunctions of teller terminals and equipment.
• Checks night depository bags and records information.
• Adheres to laws and bank policies; noncompliance may lead to discipline.

Description

• Travel to provide coverage to 19 branches located in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.
• Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer records.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as consumer and mortgage loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, and money orders.
• Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balances due. Enters payments into computer. Generates customer receipts.
• Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Counts, checks and packages coins and currency.
• Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and compares totaled amounts to computer-generated proof sheet. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
• Ensures that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
• Reports malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment used at the teller station.
• Is responsible for checking night depository bags and recording proper information on the financial institution's forms.
• Conduct day-to-day operations in accordance with the laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and expectations of the Bank. Compliance will be recognized as part of the period performance review; noncompliance may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

• Good Interpersonal communication and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as adding machines and typewriters.
• Must be available to work the required schedule of the banking office to include Saturdays.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to details and ability to multitask.
• Must be willing to travel to all branches in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.
