Job summary

Security Public Storage is seeking a Full-Time Floating/Traveling Relief Manager to support operation and leasing across multiple self-storage facilities in the East Bay and North Bay. The role involves traveling to locations such as San Pablo, Richmond, Martinez, and more to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

You will assist with leasing activities, prepare leases, and utilize established sales processes to grow unit occupancy.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or a strong sales mindset.
• Passion for working with and assisting customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using technology, including CRM systems, web-based applications, and Microsoft Office.
• Previous property management experience is a plus.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing customer questions and resolving concerns.
• Effectively sell storage units to prospective customers through phone, walk-in, and email inquiries using established sales processes and Call Flow Guidelines.
• Prepare leases and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Reduce delinquent accounts through phone, text, and email follow-up; maintain curb appeal throughout the property, including cleaning hallways, sweeping units, and removing debris.
• Travel to various locations as business needs require.

Security Public Storage (SPS) is a family-owned and operated self-storage company with more than 53 locations across California, Oregon, Nevada, Maryland, and Virginia.

Job Summary

Security Public Storage is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Floating/Traveling Relief Manager. This position assists with the operation and leasing activities of multiple self-storage facilities throughout the East Bay and North Bay.

Schedule

• Thursday – Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This position may provide coverage at locations including, but not limited to: San Pablo, Richmond, Pinole, Martinez, Pittsburg, Vallejo, Napa, Walnut Creek, and Fairfield.

Compensation & Benefits

• $21.00 per hour


• $10.00 commission for every storage unit rented on days you work independently


• Estimated additional earnings of $1.00–$2.00 per hour through commissions, bringing potential equivalent compensation to approximately $22.00–$23.00 per hour
