Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform a broad range of respiratory care treatments including nebulization, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management. You will monitor patients, document findings, and communicate with Physicians and Nursing staff as needed.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent and NBRC-RRT registry credentials.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT registry credential required or strongly preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent required.
• Certificate program in Respiratory Care also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records and communicates information.
• Administers MDI, nebulization, postural drainage, positive pressure breathing, mechanical ventilation, oxygen and aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry; observes patient during treatments; records data on patient charts; notifies relevant personnel.
