Job summary

Saint Joseph Mount Sterling is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Float/Flex Team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required active KY RN licensure with 1–3 years of acute care experience; BLS CPR mandated, ACLS within 90 days, and PALS within 6–12 months. Hospital emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and KY RN license.
• Minimum 1–3 years as an RN in acute care; CCU/Telemetry preferred.
• BLS CPR required; ACLS within 90 days; pediatric ACLS within 6–12 months.
• Trauma Nurs Core Course within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Conducts care assessments and interprets data to plan care.
• Maintains accurate documentation of observations, treatments and responses.
• Administers medications safely and accurately.
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff as appropriate.
• Collaborates with patients and families to implement plans of care.
