Job summary

Henry Ford Staffing, part of Henry Ford Health, is seeking a contingent RN for night shifts to float among Detroit-area hospitals. Minimum 24 hours per month with the flexibility to work across select facilities.

Responsibilities include nursing care under supervision, performing interventions, and identifying patient issues early. Licensure, BLS, and NRP are required; willingness to float is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices.
• Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations.
• Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient data collection (such as vital signs).
