Job summary

Ascension Providence in Waco, TX is seeking a Night Shift Float Pool RN to deliver expert nursing care across multiple specialty units. You will act as the primary liaison between specialists to keep recovery goals on track while adapting to a fast-paced environment during night hours.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS are preferred. A minimum of 1 year in a Critical Care setting is expected, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 offered.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• RN credential with Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred/accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care across a variety of specialty units, ensuring safe, high-quality treatment.
• Lead patient care coordination as the primary link between specialists.
• Execute clinical orders with precision and speed while maintaining safety standards.
• Monitor and document patient progress to alert care teams of vital changes.
• Support patient transitions by collaborating with the wider healthcare team.
