Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is hiring a Float Pool Nurse for a full-time 12-hour day shift in Mishawaka, IN. The role covers Med Surg units or ICUs depending on experience, with a sign-on bonus up to $8,700 and no mandatory overtime.

As a registered nurse, you will implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in line with standards and Indiana Nurse Practice Act. 3+ years bedside experience required; Indiana RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• 3+ years of bedside nursing experience in Med Surg Units or ICU's.

Responsibilities

• Float nurse responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process.
• Provide patient advocacy and safe environment across units.
• Adapt to Med Surg or ICU assignments based on experience.
