Job summary

Fhmsmed in Jamestown, NY seeks a caring and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to support providers and ensure a smooth patient experience. The role floats between two offices, collaborating with the Clinical Navigator team to manage patient needs and provide direct in-office care using current preventive measures.

As a full-time float RN, you will perform vital signs, medication reconciliation, vaccines administration, wound care, phlebotomy, diabetic education, and triage support.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vitals and reconcile medications during rooming.
• Administer vaccines and perform disease management tasks as per tools and orders.
• Support providers with clinical procedures and patient education.
• Manage nurse schedule for non-provider visits and perform assorted tests (EKG, oxygen testing, etc).
• Administer medications and provide diabetic education.
• Assess patient conditions over the phone and for walk-ins.
• Phlebotomy and wound care as needed.
• Coordinate with MAs for immunizations and injectables.
• Handle triage and call-center overflow as needed.
