Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time night shift in West Columbia, SC. The role uses the nursing process to promote health, collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and provides physical and psychological support to patients and families.

A sign-on bonus of 10,000 USD is offered. Minimum qualifications include an ADN, Diploma, or BSN in Nursing and a South Carolina RN license.

Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
ADN, Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
New graduate RNs educated online will not meet LMC minimum qualifications.
Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, Intermediate, and Emergency Department units require post-graduation experience unless in LMC Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

Establishes positive rapport with patient and family.
Provides education to patient and family for condition, medications, and self-care.
Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting actions and needs.
Uses systematic critical-thinking to guide data gathering and evaluation of health problems.
Maintains patient confidentiality and ethical decision making.
Performs duties with compassion and teamwork as part of the care team.
