Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support the care of unstable and critically ill patients throughout the hospital.
• Perform a variety of patient care and technical duties in the outpatient Device Clinic.
• Engage patients and families as partners in care.
• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care and physicians’ orders.
• Evaluate patient responses to established goals and interventions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate resources for discharge planning.
• Document patient progress and ensure accurate communication of patient information.
