Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare currently seeks a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The role emphasizes nursing process application, adherence to organizational policies, and the coordination of care among staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree (ASN/BSN), RN licensure (Georgia or NLC), BCLS certification, and is prepared to obtain ACLS/PALS where required by the unit within 6 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure.
• Current BCLS required.
• ACLS and/or PALS within 6 months of start date where applicable.
• Pediatric certifications: PALS/NRP as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Work within organization policies and procedures and maintain standards of practice.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
