Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, BCLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program; a BSN is preferred. Experience is not required for new graduates, with hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
