Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per unit care area statement.
• Adequately assess and reassess pain; educate patient and family on pain management.
• Implement and revise plan of care based on patient response to treatment.
• Provide leadership in roles such as charge nurse or preceptor.
• Advocate for patient safety and policy improvements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and maintain professional communication.
• Support orientation of new staff and provide mentorship.
